Serajis Salekin is a forest scientist currently working at Scion since March 2020. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Canterbury from June 2019 to February 2020, and as a Graduate Research Student at the Centre Tecnologic Forestal de Catalunya in early 2014, focusing on canopy cover heterogeneity in Sub-Mediterranean forests. Additionally, Serajis was a Visiting Student Intern with CNRS in 2013, participating in the CIRFLUX project. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Forest Science from the University of Canterbury (2015-2019), an MSc in Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management from Instituto Superior de Agronomia (2013-2014), and earlier degrees in Forestry from Khulna University.
