Leon Simcha is an experienced educator and basketball skills trainer with a strong background in teaching and coaching. Since 2014, Leon has worked with the NYC Board of Education as a teacher, responsible for coordinating activities and conducting educational lessons for students in grades K-12. In addition, Leon has served as a basketball skills trainer for CoachUp since 2012, developing dynamic training sessions focused on skill enhancement. Leon has also been a basketball specialist for the New York Junior Tennis League, teaching and organizing activities for middle school students. Previous experience includes a role as a physical education teacher and head basketball coach at the School of the Future. Leon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Queens College and is pursuing a Master of Education in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Disabilities at Touro College Graduate School of Education.
