Ryan Widrick began their work experience in 2000 as a Construction Laborer at Bruce C. Widrick Construction. Ryan held this position until 2006. In 2006, they joined New York Air Brake as a Senior Software Engineer and continues to hold this position.

Ryan Widrick holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering Science at Jefferson Community College from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Ryan has also obtained several certifications, including "Perl 5 Essential Training," "C++: Advanced Topics," and "How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in June and December 2021.
