Rick Nowak started their career as a Finishing worker at The Cimarron Group in 1990. Rick then joined 20th Century Fox in 1995 as a Manager of Creative Advertising until 1997. In 1997, Nowak moved on to New Wave Entertainment, where they began as the VP of Post Production until 2008. Rick then became the COO/President of the company.

Rick Nowak attended UC San Diego from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Arts.
