John Ahern has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. John began their career in 2005 at the School of Law, Trinity College Dublin, where they worked as an Adjunct Lecturer and later pursued their PhD. In 2013, they joined the Department of Finance, Government of Ireland, serving as an Administrative Officer and Legal Researcher. In 2015, Ahern transitioned to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Consultant. From 2017, they joined New Ireland Assurance, where they held multiple positions including Compliance Advisory Manager, Head of Conduct Risk & Advisory, and currently serves as the Head of Compliance & MLRO. Ahern's expertise lies in compliance, risk management, and advisory roles.
