Kevin Nguyen

Director Of Finance & Corporate Development at New Energy Equity (NEE)

Kevin Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kevin is currently the Director of Finance & Corporate Development at New Energy Equity since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Controller at the same company from November 2020 to July 2023.

Before joining New Energy Equity, Kevin was the Senior Manager of Accounting and Reporting at Howard University from October 2019 to November 2020. Kevin also gained valuable experience at PwC, where they held various roles including Manager from July 2018 to August 2019, Senior Associate from January 2016 to June 2018, and Experienced Associate from August 2014 to December 2015.

Kevin's early career involved working as a Consultant at A2Q2 from June 2012 to August 2014. Kevin started their professional journey as an Undergraduate Student at Notre Dame de Namur University, where they earned a B.S. in Accounting from August 2009 to May 2013.

In addition to their professional roles, Kevin also gained experience in customer service as a Customer Service Representative at Sling It! Lacrosse Company from August 2010 to May 2011. Kevin also worked for Centerplate as a Food-runner and Order Taker at the Mariner's baseball stadium from June 2007 to August 2010, providing in-seat service to customers.

Kevin Nguyen received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Notre Dame de Namur University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Kevin later obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy in May 2016 and from the Virginia Board of Accountancy in July 2018. In March 2019, Kevin obtained a certification in Digital Acumen from PwC. Currently, Kevin is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a STEM Designation and a Management Science Major at Georgetown University, a program they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2023.
