Sangeeta Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different finance roles and industries. Sangeeta is currently the Vice President of Finance at Smart Energy Water since August 2021, where they previously held the position of Senior Director of Finance from July 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, Sangeeta worked as a Senior Director of Finance at Ten-X from May 2017 to June 2020. Sangeeta also served as the Director of Portfolio Management - Finance at Irvine Company from August 2014 to April 2017.

Before joining Irvine Company, Sangeeta gained valuable experience at QBE North America, where they held several roles. Sangeeta worked as an Assistant Vice President of FP&A from September 2013 to August 2014, focusing on financial modeling and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting tools. Prior to that, they were a Manager of Premium/Revenue Analytics from January 2012 to September 2013, leading a team of senior analysts in providing analytics and forecasting revenue sources.

Sangeeta started their career at QBE FIRST, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst from January 2011 to December 2011 and as a Statistical Analyst from October 2007 to December 2010. In these roles, they were responsible for planning, forecasting, and tracking performance, as well as conducting complex financial and market analysis.

Before joining QBE FIRST, Sangeeta worked as a Business Analyst at Portellus Inc from October 2006 to September 2007. Sangeeta acted as a liaison between marketing and business units to analyze workflow processes and improve IT support systems.

Sangeeta began their career as an Associate Business Analyst at Synygy from February 2005 to April 2006. In this role, they designed a compensation system for clients using Synygy's Enterprise Incentive Management software and collaborated with clients to capture their business requirements.

Sangeeta Kumar holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management, which was completed in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a PGDBM in Finance from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Sangeeta also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, where they attended from 2001 to 2003.
