Marc Dawson has worked in the medical technology industry for over a decade. Marc began their career at Medtronic, where they held various positions from 2009 to 2019. These roles included Principal R&D Engineer, Sr. R&D Engineer, Sr. Sustaining Engineer, Sustaining Engineer, and Process Engineer - Coils / Stents. In August 2019, they joined NeuroVasc Technologies, Inc. as the Director of Research Development.

From 2006 to 2008, Marc Dawson pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
