Lucy Ma is an accomplished professional in the fields of bioengineering, aerospace medicine, and neurotechnology. Currently serving as the Chair of Communications and Advisory Board Member for the Canadian Space Health Research Network and Outreach Coordinator for the Canadian Society for Aerospace Medicine Student & Resident Subgroup, Lucy also held significant roles at LatchBio and SEDS Canada as NASA Space Apps National Coordinator. Lucy's leadership experience extends to NeurotechUofT as Co-President Innovations and Vice President Logistics for the NSight Mentorship Program. Lucy has a diverse background, having worked as a Project Engineering Intern at Bombardier and contributing significantly to the University of Toronto's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness committee. Lucy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science with a focus on Biomedical Engineering.
