Umut Gokcesu is a software developer with a diverse background in software development across multiple industries, including healthcare, energy, and engineering. Currently employed at Neuro-ID since November 2021, Umut is responsible for maintaining and extending a backend engine that processes user data. Previously, at Gainwell Technologies, automation of business processes was achieved utilizing .Net and UiPath frameworks. Additionally, experience includes refactoring legacy code at Power Costs, Inc., and software development at Chevron, where support and mentoring in reservoir modeling were provided. Earlier roles involved technical sales and reservoir modeling at Paradigm and a brief tenure as a petroleum engineer at Shell Oil Company. Umut holds a Master's degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University.
