Dejan Golubović has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Dejan began their career as a Software Development Intern at ASW Inženjering in 2015, where they implemented a customer relationship management (CRM) system in Java and migrated legacy applications from Java Server Pages (JSP) to Java Server Faces (JSF).
In 2016, Dejan worked as an Engineering Intern at ETAS, where they implemented cryptographic algorithms for a cryptographic library written in C. Dejan also developed a code signing tool using Java and integrated a cryptographic library with a Python data streaming system.
From 2018 to 2019, Dejan served as a Software Consultant at the ReLDI Centre Belgrade, providing expertise in software development.
In the summer of 2018, Dejan worked as a Summer Intern at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, assisting researchers in developing deep learning models in computational music. Dejan specifically focused on developing recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to predict a sequence of notes using the University music corpus.
In 2019, Dejan joined CERN as a Machine Learning Engineer. Dejan was responsible for developing deep learning models for particle detection in the CMS Experiment and compiling models for fast inference on FPGA-based hardware. Dejan also evaluated a deep learning compiler (software + hardware) in collaboration with industry partner Micron.
Currently, Dejan is working as a Software Engineer at Neural Concept, starting in 2023.
Dejan Golubović obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Belgrade from 2012 to 2016. Dejan then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Belgrade from 2017 to 2019. In terms of additional certifications, Dejan obtained the "Cambridge ESOL Level 2 Certificate in ESOL International" from the University of Cambridge in September 2012. Dejan later acquired the certification for "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine" from Coursera in May 2020 and the "Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)" certification from The Linux Foundation in July 2022.
