Rahat Dhande has worked in the software engineering field since 2016. In that time, they have worked for four different companies. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Full Stack Engineer at Juniper, a Software Application Developer at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver, and an Applications of Quantum Computing Coop at D-Wave Systems Inc. Since 2019, they have been a Software Engineer at Sanctuary AI. In their roles, they have developed an app that allows users to view and interact with 3D heart models, investigated analog noise on D-Wave's Quantum Processing unit in the context of Quantum Simulations, and have worked on an innovative online marketplace that helps YouTube creators reward channel engagement.
Rahat Dhande obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Physics with a Minor in Honours Mathematics from The University of British Columbia between 2014 and 2019.
