Muhammad Shahir B. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to 2019. Muhammad Shahir started their career as a Staff Officer to Head Ops and Training at the Singapore Police Force from May 2012 to August 2013. Muhammad Shahir then worked at DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore as an IT Assistant from January 2015 to December 2015, and later became a Teaching Assistant from August 2015 to December 2016.

In 2017, they joined Continental as a Software Engineer Intern from January 2017 to June 2017, and then became a full-time Software Engineer from June 2017 to March 2019.

Most recently, Muhammad Shahir B. worked at NetVirta, Inc. where they started as a Software Developer from March 2019 to January 2020. Muhammad Shahir then progressed to Senior Software Developer from January 2020 to June 2020, where they led a project focused on Computational Geometry Algorithms on Web Platform. Muhammad Shahir is currently working as the Lead Software Developer at NetVirta, Inc. where they lead a software development team, optimizes processes, and assesses potential candidates for the company.
