Donogh O'Mahony has a strong background in scientific research and has held various roles throughout their career. Donogh started at Nektar Therapeutics in 1999 as a Senior Scientist and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2006, they joined Discovery Partners as a Staff Scientist. O'Mahony then moved on to Evotec (formerly Renovis) and held the positions of Scientist II from 2006 to 2008 and Senior Scientist from 2008 to 2009. Donogh continued their research at NovaBay Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Research Scientist from 2009 to 2011. O'Mahony returned to Nektar Therapeutics in 2011 as a Sr. Scientist and held that role until 2013. Donogh then became a Sr. Scientist II at Nektar Therapeutics from 2014 to 2017. Donogh O'Mahony completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Imperial College London in 1991. Donogh then went on to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the same institution, which they successfully obtained in 1995.
