Andrea Haegebarth is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Research & Early Development in Precision Medicine at Bayer since September 2008. Throughout a distinguished career at Bayer, Andrea has held various senior roles, including overseeing R&D Strategy, Portfolio & Operations, New Product Commercialization, and multiple leadership positions focused on oncology and external pipeline development. Prior to Bayer, Andrea was a PostDoctoral Research Fellow at the Hubrecht Institute from September 2005 to August 2008. Andrea earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Diploma in Biology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
