Hassan Maqsood is a dedicated cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Security Program Officer at NCC Group since October 2023. Previously, Hassan held the position of IT Security & Compliance Coordinator at Middlesbrough College, where responsibilities included coordinating cybersecurity initiatives, achieving Cyber Essentials certifications, and addressing various IT security incidents. Prior experience includes a role as a Junior Penetration Tester & Researcher at Sencode Cyber Security, focusing on security assessments and developing a honeypot network for research purposes, as well as IT Technical Support at Stockton Riverside College, where Hassan gained practical experience in hardware and network troubleshooting. Hassan holds a BSc (Hons) in Cybersecurity and Networks from Teesside University, along with relevant qualifications in IT and cybersecurity.
