Emily McCoy is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Interim Head of Communications at the Nature Positive Initiative, where responsibilities include coordinating communications for an international coalition focused on reversing nature loss by 2030. With a diverse background as a Freelance Communications Strategist and Content Producer since January 2014, Emily has supported various organizations in implementing communication strategies and producing content. Prior to the current roles, Emily held significant positions at WWF, The Fairtrade Foundation, Soil Association, Farm2Fork, and Hestercombe Gardens Trust, specializing in digital advocacy, media management, and event marketing. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Exeter, a course on Love as a Force for Social Justice from Stanford University, and a CIPR certification in Campaign Management.
