Karen Burge has over two decades of experience in operations and payroll management. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Nationwide Building Society since March 2003, Karen previously held the position of Operations Team Manager within the same organization. Prior roles include Personal and Payroll Manager at Churches Shoes, where management of retail staff and payroll processes was key. Karen also worked as a Payroll Clerk at Scottish and Newcastle, overseeing weekly payroll for a network of over 500 pubs and clubs, and managing correspondence with HMRC. Earlier in the career, Karen was a Labour Cost Controller at Wilcon Homes Midlands Limited. Karen's educational background includes a BTEC National in Business and Finance from North London College, supplemented by studies at Parliament Hill School for Girls.
