Graeme Finch has extensive experience in the field of magnetics and electromagnetic applications, currently serving as Chair, Vice Chair, and Committee Member of the UK Magnetics Society since June 2018. In the role of Senior Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory since May 2017, Graeme Finch leads collaborative projects focused on electromagnetic non-destructive testing for the nuclear and oil & gas sectors, working on the characterization of magnetic materials and developing accredited measurement techniques. Graeme Finch is also an active member of the ISE/108 Committee at BSI and the TC68 Committee at IEC, contributing to standards for magnetic alloys and steels. Earlier academic pursuits include a PhD in Integrated Magnetic Resonance and a Master's degree in Chemistry, both from the University of Southampton.
