Susan Riddoch is an experienced engineer currently serving in the Office of Crash Avoidance Standards at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since April 2023. Prior to this role, Susan held various engineering positions at General Motors, including Vehicle Dynamics Performance Engineer, N&V Performance Engineer, and Lead Transmission Calibrator from October 2014 to March 2023. Additionally, Susan served as Assistant Chief Engineer & Drive Strategy Supervisor at Chrysler Group LLC from April 2013 to September 2014, and as Senior Engineer in Transmission Calibration at IAV Automotive Engineering from December 2011 to April 2013. Earlier in Susan's career, positions included Lead Transmission Calibrator at General Motors from June 2007 to November 2011, and Manufacturing Engineer at Ford Motor Company from May 2000 to May 2007. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
