Shirley Steele is an experienced professional in law enforcement and training, currently serving as the Health & Wellness Coordinator at Abbotsford Police Department since September 2017. Previously held roles include Officer in Charge of Training Services at the RCMP Pacific Region Training Centre from March 2012 to October 2016, District Commander at the RCMP Surrey Detachment from September 2010 to March 2012, and Operations NCO at RCMP Crime Prevention & Program Support Services from February 2008 to August 2010. Shirley's extensive career with the RCMP began in September 1986 as a Police Officer, with responsibilities encompassing general duty, traffic, crime prevention, gang management, criminal intelligence, and training management.
