Gavin Wilson is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Infrastructure Manager for the National Galleries of Scotland since January 2021. In this role, Gavin manages the IT Infrastructure Team, overseeing IT servers, storage, networks, and a range of cloud services. Prior to this position, Gavin held various roles including Systems Architect/IT Manager at Dover Fueling Solutions, where responsibilities included leading a team in developing and supporting IT systems, and Infrastructure Development Team Lead at Robert Gordon University, focusing on high-value projects and IT service documentation using ITIL principles. Earlier experience includes Systems Development Manager at Heriot-Watt University and Head of IT at Edinburgh College of Art. Gavin holds a B.Sc from Heriot-Watt University and an M.Sc from Edinburgh Napier University.
