Christina Rusen Dorto has a work experience that includes roles at National Church Residences and The Laurels. Christina started at National Church Residences in 2016, where they became the Documentation & Appeals Manager. In March 2020, they were promoted to the position of Regional Director of Clinical Services. Prior to working at National Church Residences, they served as the Rehab Services Director at The Laurels from September 2014 to September 2016.

Christina Rusen Dorto completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services from Bowling Green State University between 1995 and 1999. Christina later obtained a Master of Occupational Therapy degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from the Medical College of Ohio. In 2017, they obtained the COS-C certification for OASIS Specialist-Clinical from OASIS Answers, Inc. Christina is also LSVT BIG certified, although no specific dates are provided for this certification.
