Marlene Zammit has extensive experience in auditing, currently serving as a Member of the College of Auditors at the European Union Institute for Security Studies since April 2024, while also holding a long-term position as Principal Auditor at the National Audit Office Malta since 2000. Throughout the career, Marlene Zammit has advanced through various roles, including Senior Auditor and Associate Auditor, focusing on financial and compliance audits, investigations, and design of audit plans. Additionally, Marlene Zammit has been a Visiting Lecturer at MCAST since October 2017, teaching subjects related to budgeting and control. Marlene Zammit holds a Master’s Degree in Forensic Accounting from the University of Portsmouth and is a member of ACCA.
