Richard Diedrichs is an experienced editor and writer with a diverse background in education and publishing. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor at Narrative Magazine since April 2020, Richard has also authored works focused on basic Buddhist teachings for children and adults with Living in Blue Sky Mind-The Book since June 2008. In 2023, Richard began writing for platforms such as Substack and Medium, contributing articles, essays, and children's books, including publications like "The Woman Who" and "About Zen." Prior experience includes roles as an Elementary School Teacher with the West Contra Costa Unified School District from January 1994 to June 2008, Editor at the University of California Berkeley from 1991 to 1993, and Managing Editor at Virginia Mason Medical Center from 1985 to 1991. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Northridge.
