Idalina Taylor, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the localisation and quality assurance field, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Global QA & Localisation at 505 Games since October 2020. With a strong background spanning over 15 years, Idalina has held key positions including Global Localisation Manager and Head of Games Localisation at Universally Speaking, where responsibilities encompassed managing client relationships, ensuring quality, and overseeing technology enhancements for localisation processes. Idalina's expertise also extends to project management roles at Amplexor, Alpha CRC, and TransPerfect Translations, where Idalina developed workflows, managed teams, and focused on account management. Additionally, Idalina has contributed to academia as a visiting lecturer in localisation practice and technology while holding a PhD in Localisation from Imperial College London.
