Wendy Shackleford is an experienced mental health professional with extensive expertise in counseling and supervision across various settings. Currently serving as a Corporate Mental Health Travel Counselor at NaphCare, Inc. since January 2019, Wendy is licensed to practice in 15 states and provides telehealth services, training new hires, and supporting mental health teams in county jails. Previous roles include Mental Health Therapist and Team Leader at New Horizons Mental Health Services, focusing on supervision, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention. Wendy has also worked in various therapeutic capacities at organizations such as Prime Behavioral Health, Southeast, Inc., and Mid-Ohio Psychological Services, building a strong foundation in client-centered therapy, assessments, and case management.
