Sten Ohlsson has extensive work experience in software engineering, with a focus on various industries including telecommunications, finance, and satellite systems. Sten began their career in 2000 as a Support Engineer at Computer Associates. From there, they moved on to Tellabs Denmark A/S, where they implemented SDH performance statistics as a Software Engineer. Sten then joined Scientific Atlanta as a Software Engineer, co-designing a solution for PCR synchronisation of multiple encoders. At Rovsing, they worked on a project to develop a Service Module Simulator of a Galileo navigational satellite, which included developing software for communication with the ESA mission control software. Sten then joined Saxo Bank, where they were responsible for database remodelling and changing data providers for End-of-Day-Prices. Sten then moved to BBS, where they developed embedded software allowing remote updates of payment terminals. At Atchik-Realtime, Sten was a Software Engineer responsible for the core components of their platform, as well as providing a billing interface to customers. Prior to their current role at Napatech as a Senior Software Engineer, Sten worked at Statens Arkiver, where they performed error analysis, systems integration, and software development on various projects.
Sten Ohlsson completed their MSc in Engineering Physics at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1991 to 1999. In addition, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued studies in English and French at Lund University. In 2006, Sten Ohlsson also engaged in a program focused on Image and Signal Processing at IT-Universitetet i København. No specific degree was mentioned for the latter experience.
