Nima Saboonchi has extensive work experience in software development, starting in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Software Developer at Hamara System ICT Co. Nima then worked as a Web Developer at Eastern Mediterranean University from 2008 to 2009. Nima then joined Rahavard Samanehaye Amn as a Software Developer from 2009 to 2010. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Consultant at Cybercom Group. In 2017, Nima joined Tacton Systems AB as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked until 2020. In 2020, they joined PrimeKey as a Senior Software Developer, and in 2021, they joined Keyfactor in the same role.

Nima Saboonchi has a strong education history in the field of Information Technology and Information and Communication Systems Security. Nima obtained an MSc degree in Information and Communication Systems Security as well as Information Technology from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a B.Sc degree in Information Technology from the Eastern Mediterranean University in 2009. Nima also completed an IAD degree in Information Technology from the College of NCC education in 2007.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Nima has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Nima earned the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2021 Associate certification from Oracle in January 2022. In June 2016, they became certified as an Integration Designer & Advanced Developer from iCore Solutions AB. In December 2014, Nima received the SafeNet Luna SA Hardware Security Module Certified Engineer certification from Gemalto. Lastly, they obtained the Microsoft Network + certification from سازمان مديريت صنعتي in December 2008.
