Nikhil Bharambe is currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University Singapore since December 2021, focusing on the structural and functional characterization of ligand-gated ion channels. Prior to this role, Nikhil was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Case Western Reserve University from September 2017 to October 2021, where the work involved biophysical and structural analysis of proteins involved in mitochondrial membrane remodeling. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Indian Institute of Science, where Nikhil conducted structural studies on adenylyl cyclase proteins from August 2015 to May 2017, and an earlier role as an Assistant Professor at Progressive Educational Society's Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce from August 2008 to July 2010. Nikhil holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Gokhale Education Society's H.P.T. Arts & R.Y.K. Science College.
