Alexandria Thomas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in volunteer management and organizational engagement. Currently serving as the Volunteer Services and Organizational Engagement Manager at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, since October 2018, Alexandria leads initiatives to enhance and diversify the museum's volunteer program. Alexandria's involvement extends to multiple organizations, including serving on the Scholarship Committee for Federally Employed Women, where a focus on promoting learning among women is paramount, and as the Program Volunteer Supervisor for The Salvation Army of Greater Houston, coordinating volunteer efforts for social service programs. Additional experience includes roles at the Southwest School of Art and various positions in communications and development at arts organizations. Alexandria is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Transformative Social Change at Saybrook University, building upon a Master's in Arts Leadership from Seattle University and a Bachelor's in Art History from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
