Cecilia Burke has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Cecilia started their career as a Publishing Manager at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare in 2005 and later transitioned into the role of an Online Communications Officer. In 2014, they joined The Scots School Albury as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In 2016, Cecilia moved to Wodonga Council as a Communications and Engagement Adviser. Their most recent role is with the Murray-Darling Basin Authority, where they initially worked as a Senior Engagement Officer before being promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Engagement in 2017.

Cecilia Burke has pursued two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism at the University of Canberra. The first degree was in Journalism, while the second degree was in Communication, still focusing on Journalism. No specific start or end years are provided for either degree.
