Terry Down has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Starting in 2000, Terry worked as a Settlements Specialist at the National Bank of New Zealand for four years, focusing on sales and customer satisfaction in a face-to-face customer service environment.

In 2004, Terry took on the role of a Settlement Specialist at Schroders, where responsibilities included the transformation, lodging, and placement of new securities for Funds, Equities, and Fixed Interest Bonds.

Subsequently, Terry worked as a Strategic Sales Executive at 31E Cellular Ltd. from 2004 to 2005, engaging in outbound calls, business development, and account management for cellular phone solutions.

From 2005 to 2007, Terry held the position of Sales Consultant/Account Manager at Carphone Warehouse, achieving top performance awards for sales and customer service.

Terry transitioned to the recruitment industry in 2007, working as a Financial Services Recruitment Consultant at Irish Recruitment Consultants until 2009. This role involved offering staffing solutions and servicing niche sectors within industry, commerce, and financial services.

In 2010, Terry joined SEEK as an Enterprise Account Executive, contributing to their online employment, educational, commercial, and volunteer businesses. SEEK is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and has a global presence.

Terry's next career move was to Salesforce in 2017, where they served as an Account Executive. In 2018, Terry was promoted to the Senior Account Executive in the Financial Services team within the Enterprise Business Unit.

Starting in 2019, Terry worked at Qualtrics as an Enterprise Account Executive, specializing in experience management software solutions. They became a team lead for this role in December 2020.

Finally, in 2022, Terry joined MURAL as an Enterprise Account Executive, contributing to the company's enterprise sales efforts.

Terry Down started their education journey at Victoria University of Wellington from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Human Resources Management. Apart from their formal degree, Terry also completed an Advanced Negotiating Skills Course through Scotwork Negotiating Skills. Terry further enhanced their skills by acquiring Agile Project Management Training at Seek Internal and took courses in "Unleash the Power Within & Power to Influence" facilitated by Tony Robbins. Additionally, Terry completed a Certificate IV Front Line Management program at the Academy Training Sydney. Lastly, they attained a Diploma of Management in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Whitireia Polytechnic.
