Andrew Hennigh has extensive experience in avalanche forecasting and education, currently serving as an Avalanche Forecaster at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe since November 2012. In this role, Andrew produces forecasts for avalanche hazards and weather, collects critical data for maintaining historical records, and implements hazard mitigation strategies. Prior to this position, Andrew worked as an Avalanche Educator with Friends of the Utah Avalanche Center, teaching avalanche safety to students and the public. Andrew's background also includes a tenure as a Professional Ski Patrol at Park City Mountain Resort, where skills in patient stabilization, hazard assessment, and hazard mitigation were developed. Andrew holds a high school diploma from Boulder High School and a certificate in Construction Trades from Boulder VoTech.
