Hugh Giorgio currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets at M&T Bank, a position held since February 2002. Prior roles at M&T Bank include Managing Director of Debt Capital Markets and Managing Director of Sales and Trading, where responsibilities encompassed all Primary and Secondary Sales and Trading with industry expertise in Leveraged Finance, Asset Based Lending, and REITs. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President at The Bank of New York and Fleet Bank. Hugh Giorgio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Mount St. Mary's University, completed in 1991.
