Jack Wilson has worked in the IT and engineering industries since 2004. Jack began their career as an Engineer at Drury Precision Sheet Metal, where they learned welding, powder coating, and other precision metal work skills. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Junior Developer (intern) for the Civil Service, where they assisted with implementation of the systems lifecycle, requirements gathering, and testing. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at Totemic as an IT Development Team Leader, PHP Team Lead, and PHP Developer, where they developed and maintained web sites, systems, and services. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Paylink Solutions as a Development Technical Lead. Currently, they are a Senior Backend Developer at Mr & Mrs Smith. Additionally, they are an EQ Coach at Equilibrium HWP Ltd, where they are responsible for the training needs of a small group of members.

Jack Wilson obtained their High School education at Queen Elizabeths GM Grammar School Alford from 1997 to 2002, where they completed their GCSE. Jack then attended Queen Elizabeths GM Grammar School Alford Sixth Form (College) from 2002 to 2004, where they achieved their A Levels. Jack then attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computing (Business Information Systems). Additionally, Jack Wilson has obtained certifications from The City and Guilds of London Institute (formally ILM), Active IQ, and The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, including a Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management, Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (QCF) GYM, and Emergency First Aid at Work.
