Anita Smith is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in statutory planning. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Statutory Planning at Mount Alexander Shire Council since April 2022, Anita's previous roles include Senior Statutory Planner at Hepburn Shire Council from November 2018 to April 2022, and Senior Statutory Planner with Moreland City Council from 2007 to October 2018. Earlier in their career, Anita worked as a Senior Planner at Banyule City Council between 2001 and 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) from RMIT University and a Certificate IV in Computer Science from Victoria University.
