Vitaliy Zakharov has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Vitaliy started their career as a Supervisor at Perfection Plus Auto, where they supervised a car and parts sales lot and managed a team of six employees. Vitaliy then worked as a Caregiver at Illinois DHS before joining Roger Beasley Volvo as an Assistant Parts Manager. In this role, they handled daily operations of the department and became the lead product expert.
Vitaliy then worked as a Sales Consultant at McCloskey Motors: CO, where they quickly became one of the top-performing car sales consultants. Vitaliy utilized goal setting and proactive customer approach to achieve sales targets. Vitaliy then joined Advance Auto Parts as a General Manager, where they had complete responsibility for all store operations, including hiring, training, inventory control, and customer service. Vitaliy successfully expanded retail solutions and sales, grew the wholesale business, and developed a team.
Afterwards, Vitaliy worked at ABRA Auto Body & Glass as a Customer Service Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations for auto repair and customer service. Vitaliy managed a full services team and provided training and mentoring. Vitaliy was later promoted to a floating estimator, where they performed estimations and delivered employee training across multiple shops in the Portland area.
Vitaliy then joined Subaru of Georgetown as a Parts Director, managing day-to-day operations for four departments and a merger-created line of business. Vitaliy consistently researched and implemented new systems to improve processes and save costs. Vitaliy also handled supplier and vendor negotiations.
Most recently, Vitaliy worked at Polestar as a Parts Director, leading the planning and management for the merger of two parts departments during the Polestar-Volvo merger. Vitaliy took ownership of an entire new line of business and spearheaded its integration with original Volvo assets.
Vitaliy's current role is as a Research Analyst at MOTOR Information Systems.
