Matthew J. has extensive experience in various engineering roles. Matthew is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Morse Micro, where they oversee hardware applications. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Technical Solutions Manager at Glyn High Tech Distribution, specializing in IoT electronics integration and supply. Matthew also worked as an Electronics Design Engineer at Bayer, where they designed electronics systems for medical devices. Before that, Matthew worked as a Junior Firmware Design Engineer at Pefftronics Engineering and as a Junior Electronics Design Engineer at Redx Technology International. Matthew gained valuable experience as a Production Support Engineer and completed an undergraduate thesis on leak testing and automatic purge stations at Laserdyne Technologies. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator at Griffith University, teaching electrical engineering subjects. Matthew also had roles as a Systems Engineer at Suncorp Group and Tenix, and as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic and Team Leader at Power Smart Electrical.

Matthew J. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Griffith University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended TAFE Queensland - Gold Coast RTO: 0275 from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Licenced Electrician - Cert III in ElectroTechnology.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew has acquired several certifications related to their field. These include a Speech Craft Course in Persuasive Speaking from Toastmasters International in September 2021, a Story Telling for Leaders certification from Anecdote International in August 2021, and a Leading with a Coaching Mindset certification from Bayer in July 2021.

Furthermore, Matthew has obtained certifications such as Design for EMC Compliance from Wurth Electronics in June 2020, Good EM Design Techniques for EMC Certification from EMC Standards in November 2019, Altium Designer Essentials Training from Altium® in June 2018, and an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control Training Program from Bondline Technology in January 2016.

Matthew also possesses certifications in Agile Facilitation from Software Education in December 2014, an Electrical Work Licence - Electrical Fitter Mechanic from the Queensland Government in January 2013, Working Safely at Heights from SpanSet Australia in January 2010, and a Course in General Safety - Blue Card from the Queensland Government in January 2009.
