Lim Yong Xiang

Research Engineer at Institute of Microelectronics

Lim Yong Xiang has worked as a Research Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics since April 2021. In this role, they have successfully managed over 200 inventory items, including chemicals, wafers, consumables, and cleanroom attire. Lim ensures zero run out for all items under their care and carries out logistics duties with speed and timely delivery. Before joining the Institute of Microelectronics, they worked as a Project Engineer/Planner at Univac Precision Engineering Pte Ltd from August 2016 to March 2021.

Lim Yong Xiang earned a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including becoming a Certified Enneagram Professional from The Enneagram Academy Singapore in June 2023. Lim also completed a course on Workplace Safety and Health Control Measures from ISRC Pte Ltd in March 2023 and a course on Inventory Control from NTUC LearningHub in December 2022. In February 2021, they completed a course on applying Computer-integrated Manufacturing to Support Precision Engineering Manufacturing Processes from the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology.
