Tanicia Peairs is an experienced educator with a focus on mathematics and science instruction. Currently serving as a Project Lead The Way (STEM) Teacher at Moreland School District since June 2022, Tanicia previously taught 7th Grade Math and served as a 6th Grade Math/Science Core Teacher at Albany Unified School District from August 2011 to June 2022. Additional teaching roles include Middle School Mathematics & Science Teacher positions at Albany Middle School and QSI International School of Dongguan. Tanicia also contributed to algebra readiness efforts for students of color at California State University, Northridge. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Notre Dame de Namur University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University - East Bay.
