Jochen Mueller is the CTO and Co-Founder at Mooji Meats. Jochen has also been a Research Fellow at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and a Doctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich. Their research focuses on 3D printing of smart structures and active materials with outstanding physical properties. Jochen has also developed a novel 3D printer that is 32x faster than comparable printers. Jochen has submitted 5 provisional patents that are in the process of being registered as international patents.

Jochen Mueller's educational career began with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University. Jochen then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich.
