Jim Martin is an experienced production manager with a strong background in operations management across multiple industries. Currently serving as Production Manager at Modern Process Equipment Corporation since March 2016, Jim oversees a team of 50 pulse employees and has implemented systems such as the Supermarket pull system and NCM system to enhance efficiency. Previously, as Final Processing and Shipping Superintendent at Jernberg Industries, Jim managed union floor employees across three shifts with a focus on safety and no time lost injuries. Prior roles include Production/Maintenance Foreman at Corey Steel Company, where Jim trained and motivated staff, and Superintendent at Castwell Products, LLC, where production time increased significantly through the application of lean manufacturing principles. Jim holds dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
