Ajay Gupte has been working in the tech industry since 1988. Ajay started their career at The Library Corporation as a Manager of Software Development. In 1993, they moved to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as a Senior Software Engineer. Ajay then joined Convera Corporation (formerly Excalibur Technologies) as a Developer Manager in 1996. That same year, they also took on a role as Lead Systems Engineer at Raytheon. In 1999, they became Manager, Technology Advance (Director) at MYOB, Ltd. In 2007, they joined Albridge, A Division of Bank of New York as Sr. Director, Core Engineering. In 2011, they became President & CEO of CLCD, LLC, an information services company focused on providing K-12 librarians, teachers, researchers and professors, up-to-date information on children's books. In 2018, they founded MoBoo, a company dedicated to helping children become well-read and have strong reading skills. Ajay also became President and CEO of Childrens Literature, a premier resource of Children's Literature Reviews established in 1993.
Ajay Gupte began their educational journey in 1983 when they attended Virginia Tech and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1988. Ajay then went on to George Mason University where they received a Master of Science in Computer Science in 1993. Finally, they completed their education in 2006 with a Doctor of Science in Computer Science from The George Washington University.
