Nina Parikh is an experienced filmmaker, producer, and educator, currently serving as the Director of the Mississippi Film Office since September 2017. With a career that began in September 1992 as a freelance filmmaker and producer, Nina has developed a robust portfolio in the film industry. Previously, Nina held the position of Deputy Director at the Mississippi Film Office from September 1998 to September 2017 and served as an Adjunct Professor at Millsaps College from January 2004 to September 2023, teaching a Filmmaking Production course. Education includes studies at The University of Southern Mississippi from 1991 to 1995 and at New York University.
