Ryan Cumming has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Ryan started their career at Lewis University as an Instructor from August 2011 to May 2013. Ryan then moved on to Central Michigan University, where they served as an Instructor starting from January 2013. In 2013, they joined the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as the Program Director for Hunger Education, a role they held until October 2022. Ryan subsequently became the Director of Education and Networks from October 2022 to September 2023, and currently serves as the Program Director of Ethics, Education, and Community Engagement. Alongside their teaching roles, Ryan Cumming also worked as a Senior Lecturer at Loyola University Chicago from August 2009 onwards, with a brief period as an Instructional Design Consultant from March 2020 to September 2020.
Ryan Cumming holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Religion and Psychology from Capital University. Ryan also has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Loyola University Chicago.
