Lars Olsen has served as Head of the Train Division at Transportministeriet since November 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing train operations. Previously, Lars held positions as Senior Advisor and Advisor in the International Division, focusing on aviation policy, and was instrumental in developing the Government's Aviation Strategy for Denmark in July 2017. Additional roles at Transportministeriet include Private Secretary to the Minister during a maternity cover and Head of Section, managing socio-economic analyses of transport projects. Prior experience includes positions as a Student Assistant at Danske Advokater and Dansk Byggeri, and as a Trainee at the Royal Danish Consulate General in Dubai. Lars holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a Higher Commercial Exam from Lyngby Uddannelsescenter.
