Siisi Saetalu currently serves as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Estonian Embassy in Singapore and is the Business Diplomacy Coordinator for Asia and Africa, a position held since August 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. Prior experience includes roles as Country Director and East Africa Expert at NGO Mondo from January 2018 to July 2022, and as Co-Owner and Managing Director at Lauma Lingerie Uganda from November 2014 to July 2022. Siisi Saetalu also contributed to NGO Mondo as a volunteer founder of the social business Pop Up Cafe and held various campaign and fundraising roles from September 2011 to October 2014. Additional experience includes working as a Communication Specialist at the Responsible Business Forum from September 2011 to February 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an Erasmus program at Aarhus University, and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Tallinn University.
