Elisa van Bergen is a skilled GIS professional with a robust background in project leadership and geographical information systems. Currently serving as Projectleider Gebiedsontwikkeling at Gemeente Dijk en Waard, Elisa previously held the position of Senior Specialist in Geographical Information at Veiligheidsregio Noord-Holland Noord, and worked as a GIS Specialist at Arcadis. Elisa's experience also includes internships at Arcadis and Kadaster, where significant contributions were made in data analysis and quality assessment of volunteered geographic information. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree from Utrecht University in GIMA and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociale Geografie & Planologie from the University of Groningen. Leadership experience encompasses serving as Chairman of NODE, the study association for GIMA.
