James Carling has over 25 years of work experience. From 1993-1999, they were the Director of Information Technology at US Sales Corporation. From 1999-2007, they were the VP of IT and Operations at The Territory Ahead apparel company, where they were directly responsible for the strategic directions and day to day operations of the company. From 2007-2017, they were the Owner of Ventura Limoncello Company. Most recently, they have been the Project Manager of New Business at Minimus.biz, the biggest marketplace for all things small.

James Carling attended Borough of Manhattan Community College from 1982-1983, studying Liberal Arts. In 2016, they obtained an estimated Duolingo Italian Fluency: Elementary certification from Duolingo. Currently, they are attending Ventura College and is working towards a GIS Certification in Geographic Information Science and Cartography.
